Better-For-You Chocolate Bark

Ingredients:

    • 12–15 Medjool dates, pitted 
    • 3 tbsp Manuka honey
    • ½ cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter) 
    • ½ cup roasted peanuts, chopped (or nuts of choice) 
    • 1/4 cup of slivered almonds
    • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
    • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional) 
    • Flaky sea salt

Directions: 

1. Create the date layer 

Line a small baking sheet or plate with parchment paper. 
Arrange the dates in a single layer. 
Place another sheet of parchment on top and press or roll them into a flat rectangle.

2. Add Manuka honey 

Drizzle Manuka evenly over the flattened dates. 

3. Spread peanut butter 

Cover the date layer with peanut butter. 

4. Add crunch 

Sprinkle chopped peanuts over the peanut butter and gently press them in. 

5. Top with chocolate

Melt chocolate chips (and coconut oil if using).  
Pour over the bark and spread evenly. 

6. Finish

Sprinkle with flaky sea salt & sliced almonds. 
 Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm. 

7. Break into pieces 

Slice or break into bark-style chunks.
