Our Cabbage Health Slaw is a vibrant mix of shredded veggies and a zesty mustard-honey dressing. It’s a deliciously crisp side for any meal—or a wholesome lunch all on its own.

Cabbage Health Slaw

Ingredients:

Slaw Base:
  • 6 cups green cabbage, shredded (about 1 medium head)
  • 2 cups red cabbage, shredded (about ½ a medium head)
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Dressing:
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2–3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Manuka Doctor honey 
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Directions: 
1-Prepare the Vegetables:
  • Shred the green and red the cabbage finely using a sharp knife or food processor. 
  • Peel the carrots and grate them using a grater or food processor grating disk.
  • Rinse and chop the cilantro leaves finely with a sharp knife. 
2-To make the Dressing:

Combine:

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2–3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (start with 2, taste and adjust)
  • 2 tablespoons grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Manuka Doctor honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Whisk:

until smooth and fully emulsified, or shake well if using a jar.

3- To Serve:

In a large mixing bowl combine all the veggies and dressing.  Toss thoroughly with salad tongs to coat all the veggies evenly.
