Granola Bar Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4cup roughly chopped nuts of any kind
  • 1/2cup Manuka Doctor honey
  • 1/3cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/3cup mini chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Line a square baking dish with parchment paper and coat with nonstick spray
  3. Spread out oats, nuts, and seeds of any kind on a rimmed ungreased baking sheet
  4. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, stirring halfway through
  5. Reduce the oven to 300 degrees when done
  6. While everything is in the oven, heat the Manuka Doctor honey and peanut butter together in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Stir until well combined and smooth (about a minute).
  8. Remove from heat and add in vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt.
  9. Mix the oats with the Manuka honey mixture with a rubber spatula until well combined.
  10. If you are adding mini chocolate chips let mixture cool for at least 5 minutes before adding
  11. Scoop the mixture into a prepared square baking dish and flatten as best you can.
  12. Bake for 15-20 minutes, the longer you bake the crunchier.
  13. Let cool completely until cutting into bars.
