Makes approximately 2½ to 3 cups (about 10–12 x 60ml shots)

Ingredients:

  • 10 lemons, peeled
  • 1 pound ginger, peeled and chopped
  • ¼ cup raw apple cider vinegar (with the "mother")
  • ¼ cup Manuka Doctor honey
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root)

Directions: 

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter an 8-inch round cake pan. Line the bottom with a round of parchment paper and butter the parchment. Set aside. This recipe serves 8 people and requires butter for greasing the cake pan.

Blend:
  • all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.
Strain (if desired):
  • Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher to remove pulp.
Store:
  • Pour into small glass jars or a bottle. 
Shake before serving:
  • natural ingredients may settle. 
Tips:
  • If you're new to ACV, start with 2 tbsp instead of 1/4 cup and increase as desired.
  • Use raw, unfiltered ACV for maximum health benefits.
  • For a smoother flavor, warm the Manuka honey slightly before mixing it in.
